And Friends

Teams, especially the good ones, are able to achieve so much because of the great people they have around them. Sport is never individual, even as a solo athlete. Whether you’re competing at elite level or just dabbling for fun, community keeps you focused, helps you learn and supports you to achieve more than you thought possible.

So we’d like to draw your attention to some really great people and places that are support us and are equally passionate about the journey we’re on.

DAS-Hutchinson-Brother UK UCI Women's Team

We are really excited to be partnering with the DAS-Hutchinson-Brother UCI Women’s team, fresh from winning the 2023 individual and team British Cycling National Road Race Series. Their belief in nurturing female athletes with world-class potential and helping them achieve their dreams aligns well with our desire to nurture female grassroots participation, supporting women to achieve their desires to enjoy sport.

Racing in both the UK and mainland Europe, they have raced at the highest level in races such as Ride London Classique & Women’s Tour of Britain. They have racers who also race on their respective national teams of Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa and Norway. We look forward to opportunities to gain knowledge and insights from the team.

Cardiff Metropolitan University

It was an honour to be asked to partner with Cardiff Met University to help bring more sporting opportunities and communities to young women. With their strong track record in this area, it was a an easy yes to work together to keep pushing women’s participation and progress in sports at all levels.

From their involvement in national sport leagues, to their ArcHER programme to equip female students with a deeper understanding of the female body in relation to sport, and their women only swimming lessons that are helping women from minority backgrounds gain water skills, it felt like a good opportunity to help Cardiff Met expand their work by providing a platform for young women to engage in sports. We are excited to have Cardiff join us on our journey.
