General

She Is Action is a network tailored specifically to women already participating in or looking to explore a number of action, adventure and traditional sports and active hobbies. We are inclusive of women and those who identify as women, of any background and sports experience levels.

Absolutely! Our goal is to make the platform as accessible to all women. Since the platform has social aspects, a profile is required and you will need to sign up. But from there it is free!

Right now we are in beta testing – that just means we’re getting started and there might be a few digital gremlins still.

To gain access, just use the sign up form on the bottom of the homepage and we will send you an email with the details of how to join! In the next couple of months, once we are more comfortable with how it works, we will launch properly and transition away from the beta platform.

Technically yes, but also no!

The short answer is, we are a global platform that is facilitating community everywhere.

The longer answer is, for phase 1 we are launching in the UK in 6 key areas: Norwich (and the coast), Southampton, Sheffield, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London. However, we are not limited to those areas and welcome users and sports businesses from other parts of the UK and around the world (we already have users in the US, Philippines, France, Portugal and more). We have to focus our attentions somewhere initially due to time and resource limitations, but we will be adding new locations regularly!

If you are not on the list of launch locations, come and join anyway. One of the ways we will prioritise new locations will be based on areas with higher numbers of businesses and users already onboarded.

Sports Businesses

Of course! We would love for your sports, wellbeing or fitness business to join the She Is Action platform. To join us, go to the business page and fill in your details. We will then get you set up!

If you have any questions, there is a link at the bottom of the business page to set up a call and discuss how the platform works with one of our founders.

Yes! We have a basic package that gives you access to the platform, a business profile and content creation ability. We will walk you through set up and guide you on the best content for you. So there is no reason not to get your business on there right now!

In the next few weeks and months we will be introducing some optional paid features including optimisation, analytics dashboard and content AI tools.

We are still working through our onboarding process. So for now, just head over to the business page and fill in our short form, then one of our founders will be in touch to get you set up!

Sports Groups and Communities

100%! Our goal is to connect women with the communities, businesses and other women they need to help them get started and progress in sport.

Part of building a platform like this is helping women find the right groups for them and in turn help sports communities to find their audience. We know some platforms can be difficult to use and some networks make it hard to find you. We’ve created a simple way of making sure you are recommended to members that want what you’ve got to offer!

Simple! Sign up to join our beta test and once you have a user profile, you will be able to set up a “group” on the platform. This can be public or private (invitation only) and will immediately be available to all members.

If your sports community is a bit bigger, you can opt to set up one of our basic “business memberships”, which will enable you to have a full profile for your club / community and create magazine style content. Use the form on our business page to sign up, or get in touch with us at hello@sheisaction.com to talk things through!
